‘Mission Total Segregation’ campaign has been launched in Patna. It has been started to perform better in the cleanliness survey and to make the city garbage free. From now on, people will have to give dry and wet garbage separately. To make people aware, women workers will be deployed on every vehicle of the Municipal Corporation. The above was said by Urban Housing and Development Minister Nitin Naveen. On Thursday, ‘Mission Total Segregation’ campaign was launched in Bapu Auditorium of Patna by Urban Development and Housing Department Minister Nitin Naveen under the chairmanship of Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. During this, he also started the ‘Selfie with Dustbin’ campaign. He also inspired people to keep garbage separately. He told that approval has been received from the Education Department of Bihar to keep two dustbins in all schools. Along with this, soon cleanliness pledge will also be taken by the children in every school. The Education Minister has also given approval for this.

The governor said- we all will participate in ‘selfie with dustbin’

The Governor said that this program is yours, we all have come to support you. We all will participate in ‘Selfie with Dustbin’. Also, let us pledge that we will adopt the habit of cleanliness not just for a month or two but for the whole life. Apart from this, MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the country will change only when we change. I request the minister to organize a cleanliness program during Chhath where we all will come. Also, we will go to the dirtiest spots of the city and clean them and make people aware. Minister, you go ahead, we are with you. At the same time, Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav said that to make the city clean, we have to show it by doing and not just talking.

The minister said- 2000 people were trained

Minister Nitin Naveen said that we all have come together today with a big purpose. Ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi strengthened the system of Panchayati Raj, the Panchayat and Municipal bodies have started getting direct benefits from it. He said that we all have joined door to door cleanliness in Patna. But now we have to move to the second step, which is segregation. Without separating the garbage, we cannot use it. This mission has started with the objective that the cleanliness that is in our culture, has to be brought into practice and thinking as well. He said that I am happy to tell you that 75 teams of Patna Municipal Corporation will go door to door to make people aware. 2000 people have been trained for this. He said that we will also go to 500 schools in Patna and inspire children to write ‘Ek Patra Parent Ke Naam’.

These are both very important projects.

Here, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that both ‘Mission Total Segregation’ and ‘Solid Waste Management’ are very important projects for Bihar. Minister Nitin Naveen is doing a good job for this. In such a situation, I want to tell the minister directly that if the state has to spend even Rs 5000 crore for waste management, I will give it as the Finance Minister. At the same time, he said that if the UNO team comes to Bihar during Chhath festival, then they will not find a cleaner city than Bihar in comparison to the whole country.
